Dr. Melissa Reinke,
DC
I graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic
College in 2011 and have been privileged to serve the
community of Highland Park and surrounding area, ever
since.
My
clinical focus is in
Prenatal and Postpartum
care- I really enjoy educating and
empowering my patients while they navigate their perinatal journey. I am
certified as a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist
(PPCES), and a Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist (FRCms)
and have additional training in Cesarean birth recovery. I also work
with patients who have Complex Chronic Postpartum injuries, such as
pelvic pain, incontinence, prolapse, diastasis recti, and discogenic
neuropathy. It brings me so much joy to be able to provide answers to
those who have struggled for years, if not decades, with these
postpartum symptoms.
In addition to my perinatal work, I
am skilled at treating a wide variety of
conditions including: acute and chronic injuries,
repetitive sprain/strains, vertigo, Motor Vehicle
Accident injuries, headaches,
nerve impingements and neuropathy, TMJ dysfunctions, concussions/Post Concussion
Syndrome, and preventative/maintenance care. I
absolutely love what I do and I especially love sharing
my knowledge with others. I strongly believe that
by understanding
the cause of your pain,
you are better able to manage
it and
prevent re-injury.
I was born and raised in rural Alberta, and
after living in both Edmonton and Toronto, I now happily call Calgary my
forever home. My husband and I welcomed our daughters in 2018, and 2021
and I'm enjoying the challenge of balancing life as a mom and
business owner.
In my free time I love spending time
outdoors- camping, hiking, skiing, and fishing. I'm also an avid reader
and love nothing more than sitting outside with a good book. I enjoy
lifting weights and resistance training, and am constantly
expanding my knowledge in rehabilitation... both to better my own functional
training AND my patients'.

Dr. Caitlin Batting,
ND
I graduated from the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine, and
practiced in Vancouver for nearly four years before deciding to move my family back to Calgary. I treat all patients
and all conditions but have a practice focus on hormones & weight loss,
pregnancy/postpartum, infertility, menopause, and graceful aging. I
practice evidence informed medicine, so your care is based on scientific
research, my clinical experience and your own data and labs.
I am trained in acupuncture, auricular (ear)
acupuncture, IV vitamin therapy & Bowen Therapy and like to include
these physical therapies along with nutritional counselling, herbs
and supplements to bring your body back into balance.
I myself am a new mom, and throughout my
pregnancy (with a surprising case of gestational diabetes), I
realized how much more support is needed on top of the conventional
15 minute doctor visits. I am passionate about helping women through
these big life transitions- pregnancy, postpartum and menopause.
When I am not in the clinic, you can find me
spending time with my family, outdoors, working out or exploring
Calgary's food scene.

in the area of Chronic pain management, pelvic floor rehabilitation, Endometriosis rehabilitation, pregnancy

through the journey of recovery.
I offer Physiotherapy for pelvic pain conditions, pain with physical intimacy, pelvic organ prolapse,
incontinence and constipation. I have a special interest in helping clients thrive through their journey around pregnancy and postpartum,
supporting them with preparation for labour and delivery, and safe return to activities in the postpartum
period.
I offer Physiotherapy support for moms and babies who are breast and/or bottle feeding. This includes
Positioning and hold, torticollis, neck and jaw muscles, Plagiocephaly, mastitis and plugged duct.
I have 15+years of experience working with clients with Orthopedic conditions such as hypermobility and EDS,
low back pain, shoulder pain, arthritic conditions and sports injuries. I am currently taking the
Ehlers-Danlos Society ECHO program for Allied Health Professionals.
I provide a safe space for clients to share their story, learn about their bodies, make decisions on their
health goals that are meaningful to them, and actively participate in their treatment plan.
I believe in working along side clients to identify the root cause of the problem and use
a whole person
approach for treatment.
Outside clinic, I enjoy long walks with my fur baby, Jasper and spending
time outdoors with my husband and daughter.

Nicole Lewis, RMT
Hi! My name is Nicole and I graduated with my
diploma in Massage Therapy from Mount Royal University in Calgary, AB. I
work with many different populations including: athletes, pregnancy and
postpartum, pediatrics and geriatrics. Yes, even babies and children can
benefit from Massage Therapy! I enjoy the challenge of having a wide
variety of clientele who range from having incredibly complex
conditions, to those who just want to relax. I chose Massage Therapy as
a profession because I've always taken an interest in the human body and
the way it moves, and wanted to help people feel, move and perform to
the best of their ability. I’ve seen the huge impact Massage
Therapy can have on someone’s overall mental health and physical
wellbeing, and I pride myself on ensuring that ALL of my treatments,
even relaxation, include a therapeutic component.
I use a variety of techniques during my treatments including:
dynamic cupping; myofascial
release; trigger point therapy; passive stretching; joint mobilization;
and my specialty, deep tissue massage. I pride myself on taking the time
with my clients to educate them on their conditions, as I believe that
understanding the cause of your pain/dysfunction is an important step in
rehabilitation. I take special interest in nerve entrapments, including
thoracic outlet syndrome, sciatica and carpal tunnel syndrome, as well
as lower back and hip pain. I am also experienced in post Motor
Vehicle Accident (MVA) care. Each of my treatments and homecare plans
are customized to my client’s individual needs, using a clinical and
intuitive approach to maximize recovery. My treatment plans are also
designed to fit in with your busy schedule.
In my spare time, I enjoy hiking through the mountains with my partner
and my dog, doing yoga and exploring the abundance of markets and other
outdoor events Calgary has to offer.

Michelle Van Dyk, RMT
I graduated with honours from MH Vicars School of Massage
Therapy in Calgary, AB. As a former competitive dancer, I'm all too
familiar with injuries and how effective massage therapy can be in
the recovery process. After completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in
Dance, with a concentration in choreography and performance, I
found my interest in the human body and how it functions and moves.
I'm skilled in a variety of techniques including
therapeutic, deep tissue, trigger point release, joint mobilization,
myofascial stretching and relaxation massage- bringing passion and
expertise to every treatment. My goal is to identify underlying
patterns such as muscle imbalances, postural changes and movement
dysfunctions that lead to pain-tension cycles, and subsequently
create an individualized treatment plan to address clients’ concerns.
I like to educate my clients in customized self-care, empowering
them to be active participants in their healing process and
continued recovery. Influenced by my years of training and passion
for exercise, I believe that movement is often the right medicine
for combating aches and pains.
I've recently added dynamic cupping as a treatment option to
include with your massage. This unique modality increases blood flow
to the tissue, releases fascia that can otherwise be difficult to
treat, and improves overall muscle function. It also feels great!
In addition to my massage therapy services, I'm
also a certified Laser Therapist. Laser Therapy is a non-invasive, light
based treatment that impacts tissue on a cellular level. It is highly
effective for the treatment of pain, inflammation, nerve regeneration,
and scar repair. It's a great option for treating arthritic conditions,
neuropathy, sprain/strain injuries, and for post cesarean scar healing.
In my spare time you can find me in
the mountains hiking, backpacking, paddle boarding, snowboarding,
and camping and spending time with my partner and dog.
